PoE 2 Interlude Acts Explained

After completing Act 4, players move into Path of Exile 2 Currency the Interlude chapters, which replace the old Cruel difficulty system. These Interludes revisit familiar regions with entirely new layouts, enemies, and bosses.

The Interludes include:

Vastiri Desert
Utzaal Jungle Regions

Each Interlude can be completed in any order, and all must be finished to unlock the Atlas endgame. Expect around 20 new zones and 12 additional boss fights across these chapters.

Returning to the Vastiri Desert introduces several permanent upgrades tied to side objectives.

To fully clear this Interlude, make sure to:

Activate the Seven Pillars in Qimah
Complete Molten One's Gift in Khari Crossing
Defeat Akthi and Anundr during Risu's Clearing the Way quest
