Minimum rates of pay
Minimum wage as per Scotland Agricultural Wages Order currently £5.73/hr for first 8
hours/day and 39 hours/week with overtime @ £8.59/hour
Holiday entitlement as per Scotland Agricultural Wages Order currently 5 weeks/year
proportional to part of year worked. For example, for each complete month worked, 0.42
weeks paid holiday will be accrued. Holiday is accrued and paid at the end of the
employment if paid holiday is not taken.Most work is piecework
Payment system
Most work is piecework
Piecework means you are paid, usually by weight or number, for the crop you harvest or
other task that you do – the more you pick or do the more you earn. Rates vary
according to crop yield and conditions and can change daily. If you achieve a good
work rate you will earn more than the minimum wage but if you have a consistently low
work rate and your pay has to be made up to the minimum wage and you may be
dismissed if you do not respond to additional training.
Accommodation & Facilities
Type of accommodation
We have a mixture of converted farm building hostel and residential self contained
caravans
Sleeping accommodation
4 to 6 people per caravan 2 people share a bedroom
Hostel has 6 to 8 people sharing a dormitory bedroom
Bunk beds and single beds, some duvets pillow and pillowcase.
NB Sleeping bag will be needed.
Bathing
Showers, toilets and wash hand basins all in the caravans
Additional Showers and toilets are provided and the hostel residents
Kitchen / cooking
All facilities are available in the caravans including cookers, fridge, food storage and
cooking utensils. Hostel has fitted kitchen with facilities provided. You need to provide
food.
Things to bring with you
Sleeping bag
Waterproof jacket & trousers – it can rain! Wellington boots
Other Information
When you arrive at the farm and before you start work you will receive Health and Safety
induction training which is mandatory for all employees. Employees are NOT to operate
machinery without first receiving the appropriate training.

Detail: DO NOT get the morning bus from London – it arrives too late for us to pick you
up & sort you out with your accommodation.
From Dundee there is a bus service to Arbroath, ask for the Scryne Road. You are ¼
mile from the farm.

Здравйте на всички. Разпределена съм за тази ферма - 01.06. Може ли някой да ми даде информация относно условията там, защото това писмо с работната оферта го имам, но никъде не видях изказани мнения за фермата :(

Бях там 2 месеца. Разбрах че преди фермата е била хубава, но вече не е! Имат нужда от много хора само за 2 месеца, после ако не си там от началото, ако не си най-добрият пикър и нямаш поднински жзаимоотношения с някой те гонят. Фермата е пречзета от поляци разбира се. Говорих си преди 1 месец с младеж, който ходи 3 години и сега ми каза 4е са го сложили в 4ерният списак без причина и от ХОПС няма да го вземат никаде вече. От тази години тази ферма няма да набира кандидати, доколко рабрах от останали, които бяха там. Иначе плащат. Дачаш 30 паунда за каравана, и още 60 за бутилка с газ, за една каравана и като свърши - си купувате пак, защото всичко е на газ. Живея в УК от известно време и рабрах че много пари са ни взимали за газта, но това е положението :))) 5 и 80 на час, чисто мове да спестяваш 180 паунда на седмица, ако даваш по-малко за храна, не си купуваш дрехи и имаш пулни часове на полето.*luck*

направо ме наплашихте с тези отрицателни отговори ........ с един приятел двамата ни одобриха за заминаване на 15 юни при положение, че когато кандидатствахме на 3-ти етап ни казаха, че кандидатстваме за дата на заминаване месец МАЙ .. а то какво стана ще тръгнем 1 месец по-късно ... а най-важното, което се питаме ЗАСЛУЖАВА ЛИ СИ ?!?

здравейте и аз ще заминавам за същата ферма от15.06 , 4е се питам има ли други освен мен на същата дата, и ако има от къде сте (аз съм от Стара Загора).Ако е възможно някой с опит да допише 2-3 реда надоло с някоя подробност,така като предполагам че ще има хора които им е за 1 път като мене .
